Industries / kiosk & POS
A kiosk is a storefront with no staff.
Kiosks run unattended in public and often warm. The board must boot without a keyboard, recover from a power cycle and fit a NUC or 2.5-inch envelope. PCI PTS is on the terminal.
The board is not PCI PTS certified; that applies to the terminal.

Requirement / interface
No operator to clear a fault.
A kiosk has no one to clear a fault. The board needs a display path, a fanless option, 12–19 V and documented recovery. AD600CA has two HDMI and two Type-C outputs on 100 × 100 mm.

Boundary / board, terminal, certificate
PCI PTS belongs to the payment terminal.
The board is a component; PCI PTS and the enclosure belong to their makers.
Configuration example / not a named customer
One checkout lane, one hour.
A lane goes down in a peak window. At the cited rate, each hour costs US$800–900; a peak minute can reach US$14,056. The build pairs AD600CA for dual display and 12–19 V with TL500CA for dual 2.5G LAN. The payment terminal stays a separate certified unit.

AD742A is 100 × 72 mm with an optional fan. TL500CA is a 100 × 100 mm NUC at 28 W. Both are rated −20 to +60 °C at board level; kiosk airflow is the integrator's design.
Fanless depends on heatsink and enclosure.
